The DECIPHE team met in person on March 19–20, 2026, at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences in Budapest. Over two days, members presented and discussed ongoing work from the project, including papers on intergenerational downward mobility in homeownership across Europe, the housing-welfare trade-off and young people’s homeownership, homeownership norms and housing satisfaction, and intergenerational transmission in continuous-time microsimulation. The team also received an update on preliminary results from the DECIPHE data collection.
